We're so hot

Not pretty hot, sweaty legs hot. Oh yeah. Try taking the 10 east to 85 to 8 to 10 from Joshua Tree to Red Rock, AZ, with no AC in bus and hot wind blowing in your hair. Nothing to see but dust blowing in the desert. Found relief by jumping in the Colorado River right underneath the interstate along the way, constantly re-applied 50 to my window arm and leg (sun on my side entire way), and used the cooler water to cool us down periodically. Was worth it though, we made it to Red Rock and are staying with Mike's family, Trevor and Michelle and family. Great house and much needed rest from the heat. Ahh, sweet relief.
