I meant to start this blog 5 months ago when we first bought the bus, but that time is gone now, and all that matters is what lies ahead. So, this is the beginning of an adventure Mike and I can't wait to start. It will be a hiatus from the world we currently live in, a time for us to see things, think about stuff, dwell in places, and hopefully connect more deeply with each other. Soon, all of our energy, both physical and mental will be used on us and our adventure, nothing else.
Our mode of transportation for the ride, is the lovely white 1990 Volkswagen Vanagon, and I guess our new home too. Mike has been working on it from the inside out ever since we bought it. He is amazing. I helped as much as I could (curtains - I'm good for somethin'!) so that we both become attached to this rig, put our sweat and love into it, and hopefully it will serve us well in return. :) She's our Little Runaway. Name is placeholder, but we think we like it. First few posts to come may be some fond memories of the work Mike has put into it so far...
